Peggy Barriball has been a Trust Waikato trustee since 2010.
Originally from Western Australia, Peggy moved to the Hauraki Plains and took up farming when she married her husband Keith. The couple now run their own dairy farming business, with their two children and six grandchildren, on the family farm at Waitakaruru, near Thames.
Peggy has always been heavily involved in her local community. Currently, she is a committee member for several Hauraki-based community organisations, a Trustee for the Thames Budget Service, a Justice of the Peace, and the co-ordinator for the Waitakaruru School Archives.
Peggy enjoys the opportunity that her role on the Trust Waikato board gives her to meet people from communities throughout the region, and finds their “dedication and passion” inspiring.
