Poutiria te Aroha offers a parenting programme that resonates with whaanau Maaori. Their programmes draw on Maaori cultural values and tikanga for raising tamariki, along with the traditions of nonviolence, evident in the philosophy of peaceful resistance in Aotearoa (e.g. at Parihaka) and overseas.
