Our grants whaanau and Trust chair have just returned from the Indigenous Wellbeing Conference, held in Brisbane. It was an inspiring few days surrounded by passionate mental health advocates, researchers, and community leaders from across Aotearoa, the Pacific and Australia.
The conference offered:
  • Powerful koorero on justice, equity, and global mental health reform
  • Practical insights into supporting and sustaining the mental health workforce
  • Fresh thinking around digital realities and media’s impact on wellbeing
Restorative wellness activities that reminded us to pause and reflect They’re now back in Kirikiriroa energised and equipped with new ideas to strengthen our mahi and better support the wellbeing of our communities.
