Thank you to everyone who joined us on 28 April for the fourth hui session of Puna Koorero – Trusted Voices: Preparing for winter with Akarere Henry (South Waikato Pacific Islands Community Services Trust) and Janise Eketone (Waikato District Health Board).

Expect a rise in COVID-19 cases due to borders opening; another COVID-19 booster vaccination coming for our vulnerable communities
‘Get connected, get protected’ – prepare now for winter illnesses, both COVID-related and non-COVID illnesses such as RSV, flu, and measles due to lower immunisation levels; connect with a health provider, enrol with a GP
‘Local faces from local places’ – whanaungatanga, supporting whaanau and people in our community to access the services they need
