Finance Lead Vacancy

As Finance Lead, you will be responsible for the finances of Trust Waikato. You’ll manage day‑to‑day accounting functions, ensure robust financial controls and compliance, and play a key role in budgeting, audit and reporting.

You’ll work closely with the Business Manager, Investment Lead and external advisors, and will be trusted with a high level of autonomy.

This role suits someone who enjoys both hands‑on financial work and contributing to the broader functioning of an organisation.

Key responsibilities include:

·         Managing the Trust’s accounts, payroll, cashflow and financial systems

·         Preparing budgets, GST returns and financial reports

·         Coordinating the annual audit and statutory reporting

·         Liaising with external accountants and auditors

·         Supporting financial reporting for management, trustees and audit
