Technology, Insights and Process Lead Vacancy

This role is responsible for leading Trust Waikato’s technology, from core business systems and Microsoft 365, through to reporting, dashboards, automation and process improvement. There will be a strong focus on the grants management system that supports our funding processes and reporting.

You’ll act as system owner across multiple platforms, provide day‑to‑day technology support to staff, and ensure the Trust has reliable information, excellent reporting and efficient, well‑designed processes.

This is not a purely technical role, it’s about translating organisational needs into practical solutions that support granting, operations and governance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ownership and management of Trust Waikato’s systems and digital platforms
  • Technology support, user access, licences and vendor coordination
  • Acting as system owner for the Trust’s grants management system
  • Supporting the grants team with system use, access, troubleshooting and reporting
  •  Designing and maintaining dashboards and reporting for management and trustees
  •  Identifying and implementing automation and digital improvement opportunities
  • Improving and documenting organisational processes
  • Supporting good information management, privacy and technology risk practices
